Crocus ‘Gipsy Girl’

These flamboyant little flowers have all the striking qualities of a gipsy skirt, their golden yellow blooms marked on the outside petals with a stylized design of purplish-brown. The intricate brushwork has the advantage that even if the bud refuses to open because the sun isn’t shining, there’ll still be something interesting to look at. Crocus chrysanthus ‘Gipsy Girl’ has large blooms and will provide dramatic effect in late winter or early spring, whether you plant her corms in beds, along pathways through your garden or at the base of shrubs. You could even let this Gipsy Girl do a colourful dance for you in a container on your patio or deck.
