A large yellow narcissus with a difference, Narcissus ‘Carlton’ paints itself with a full palette of yellows as it presents its large and long-cupped flower to the sun in early to mid-spring. Outer petals of sunny yellow, tinged with a hint of lime to brighten them still further, provide a showy skirt for a trumpet-like cup. Inside the cup the colours change through a range of deep and pure yellows and an almost pale orange in the build-up to its loosely-frilled top.
One of the most popular daffodils, Narcissus ‘Carlton’ is frequently bought for its reliability as a perennial showpiece in the garden, year after year. Itβs also deer and rabbit resistant.
