You can’t go wrong with a chunky yellow daffodil around Easter, and Narcissus ‘Lucky Number’ hits the nail on the head. It’s chunky, strong, long flowering and has nice big traditional blooms. This variety has the benefit of being fairly compact in height, but without compromising on flower size. The large beaming blooms of Narcissus ‘Lucky Number’ do a great job in shining like the sun in the garden, and whilst doing so they remain sturdy and upright in neat and eye-catching groups or drifts. These daffodils are perfect if you love uniform, tidy displays and a good helping of spring colour.
You can plant Narcissus ‘Lucky Number’ bulbs in your garden in autumn and they will flower every year around March/April. Over time, these perennial bulbs multiply and form a good clump. These daffodils are ideal for planting in borders or grassy areas where they can naturalise, but also do brilliantly in patio containers. Try pairing them with Muscari for a perennial display you can enjoy again and again.
